What Vista Social is for
Most social tools schedule posts. Vista Social schedules posts and then handles what comes back — comments, DMs, and, unusually, reviews on Google, Yelp, TripAdvisor, OpenTable, TrustPilot, the App Store and Google Play, all in the same inbox. Add social listening, DM automations, a link-in-bio page and employee advocacy, and the shape of the product becomes clear: this is built for someone managing a brand's presence, not for someone keeping a posting schedule.
Network coverage is the widest in this price class — thirteen: Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, X, Google Business Profile, YouTube, TikTok, Reddit, Pinterest, Snapchat, Tumblr, Threads and Bluesky. Reddit, Snapchat, Tumblr and Bluesky are the four that most competitors quietly skip, and if any of them is where your audience lives, that alone narrows the field.
Vista Social pricing 2026
Three plans are published, a fourth is quote-only. Annual billing is a single up-front payment.
| Plan | Monthly | Annual | Profiles | Users | DM contacts |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Professional | $79/mo | $758/yr — $63/mo | 15 | 2 | 10,000 |
| Advanced | $149/mo | $1,430/yr — $119/mo | 30 | 4 | 25,000 |
| Scale | $349/mo | $3,638/yr — $303/mo | 70 | 8 | 100,000 |
| Enterprise | on request | on request | custom | custom | custom |
The page advertises 20% off for paying yearly, and on Professional and Advanced that is exactly right: $758 against $948, and $1,430 against $1,788. On Scale the same maths gives 13% — $3,638 against $4,188 — so the headline discount does not survive contact with the top tier. Not a large sum in relative terms, but worth knowing if Scale is the plan you were budgeting for.
The add-ons, and one that matters
Three things sit outside every plan, Scale included:
- X (Twitter) — $29/month. Publishing, boosting, automations and analytics for X are not part of any subscription.
- Listening — from $75/month. Monitoring your own profiles is free; listening across social, the web and news is the paid tier.
- Employee Advocacy — from $199/month for 25 employees, free to try with three.
The first one deserves attention because it contradicts an assumption. A Professional plan that covers your client's X account costs $108 a month, not $79. Vista Social is not alone in charging for X — the platform's API pricing pushed the whole industry that way — but it is the sort of line item that turns a favourable comparison into an unfavourable one after you have already migrated. It also shows up in customer complaints: reviewers who signed up when X was bundled report losing that access.
Who it fits — and who is overpaying
- you run social for several clients and 15 profiles is a real number to you
- reviews on Google or Yelp are part of what you are paid to manage
- your channels include Reddit, Bluesky, Snapchat or Tumblr
- you post to your own three accounts and want a calendar
- you are looking for a plan that stays free
- X is your main channel and $29 a month on top changes the calculation
Vista Social sells itself to teams, and the pricing agrees: two users on the entry plan, eight on Scale, sales conversation above that. That puts it comfortably inside the range we cover — solo operators through to teams of around twenty — but at the upper end of it. A freelancer with three own channels is buying an agency tool.
Reputation: read the fine print
G2 has repeatedly badged Vista Social for usability, and the interface earns it — the shared inbox in particular is well made. The public review picture is more mixed. Trustpilot displays no TrustScore for the company, citing a breach of its guidelines, and states that it removed fake reviews from the profile. Of the 78 reviews that remain, 79% are five stars and 17% are one star, with the criticism concentrated on price increases and on the removal of X from existing subscriptions.
None of that makes the product bad, and the feature set is genuinely strong. It does mean the star average you see quoted elsewhere is not something to lean on.
What we like about Vista Social and what we don't
Pros & Cons
Pros
- Thirteen networks including Bluesky, Reddit, Snapchat and Tumblr — wider than any cheaper scheduler
- Review management for Google, Yelp, TrustPilot and the app stores sits in the same inbox
- 14 days of full access without a credit card
- Fifteen profiles on the entry plan, which is generous if you run several clients
Cons
- X (Twitter) is a $29/month add-on, so a channel most people assume is included is not
- No free plan — $79 is the real entry price, roughly three times Later
- The advertised 20% annual discount does not apply to Scale, where it works out at 13%
- Trustpilot shows no score for the company and states it removed fake reviews from the profile
Alternatives worth knowing
If the job is scheduling rather than managing, Later starts at $25 and is better at the visual calendar. SocialBee sits between the two and is built around content recycling — good when the same evergreen posts should keep circulating. Buffer remains the leanest option for text-first channels. Frequently Asked Questions
How much does Vista Social cost in 2026?
Three public plans: Professional $79/month (15 profiles, 2 users), Advanced $149 (30 profiles, 4 users) and Scale $349 (70 profiles, 8 users). Paid annually those are $758, $1,430 and $3,638 — $63, $119 and $303 a month. Enterprise is quote-only. Correct as of September 2026 — check current rates at vistasocial.com/pricing.
Is there a free version of Vista Social?
No. There is a 14-day trial with no credit card, and after that the entry price is $79 a month. Older write-ups (ours included, until this update) mention a free starting plan — that is out of date. If you need something that stays free, our marketing tools comparison lists schedulers with a genuine free tier.
Is X (Twitter) included?
No, and this catches people out. X is a $29/month add-on on every plan, including Scale. A Professional plan with X is therefore $108 a month, not $79. The surcharge reflects what X charges for API access, but it is worth adding to your own maths before you compare Vista Social against a scheduler that bundles X.
Vista Social or Later?
Different sizes of problem. Later starts at $25 and is built around a visual Instagram calendar for one brand. Vista Social starts at $79 and gives you 15 profiles, a shared inbox, review management and listening. If you post for yourself, Later is the honest answer. If you post for four clients and answer their Google reviews too, the difference stops being a price gap and starts being a scope gap.
Which networks does Vista Social support?
Thirteen: Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, X, Google Business Profile, YouTube, TikTok, Reddit, Pinterest, Snapchat, Tumblr, Threads and Bluesky. On top of that it pulls reviews from Google, Yelp, TripAdvisor, OpenTable, TrustPilot, the App Store and Google Play into the same inbox. Reddit, Snapchat, Tumblr and Bluesky are the ones most competitors skip.
Verdict
Vista Social is a wide tool at an agency price. Thirteen networks, a shared inbox that also carries Google and Yelp reviews, listening and DM automation — for someone running social across several clients, that breadth is worth $79 a month and the fifteen profiles on the entry plan are generous. For a freelancer posting to their own three channels it is roughly three times what Later costs for a job Later does better. Check two things before you subscribe: that you actually need more than a scheduler, and that X — a $29 add-on here — is in your budget rather than your assumptions.
