Affiliate Transparency & Disclosure
Fastlancer is an independent comparison platform for freelancer tools. This page explains honestly how we make money, how that does (and doesn't) affect our content, and how to recognize affiliate links on our site.
How We're Funded
Fastlancer is free to use. We fund the platform through affiliate commissions: when you click a labeled link and go on to purchase or subscribe to a product, we earn a small commission from the provider. This comes at no extra cost to you — the price is identical to buying directly.
These commissions allow us to keep the platform free, regularly test tools, and publish new content.
How to Recognize Affiliate Links
Affiliate links on Fastlancer are identifiable in several ways:
- "Partner link" notice in the footer of every page: "Partner links are affiliate links — they support Fastlancer at no extra cost to you."
- Redirect paths via
/go/: CTA buttons inside review articles route through/go/toolnamebefore forwarding you to the provider's site. - Technical labeling: All affiliate links carry the HTML attribute
rel="sponsored"in accordance with Google's and other search engines' guidelines. - External link icons on tool cards: Quick-link cards on category pages open the provider's website directly and are marked with an external link icon.
Our Editorial Principles
Affiliate commissions do not influence our reviews. Here are the principles we hold ourselves to:
- Ratings follow criteria, not commission rates. Every tool is assessed against the same four criteria — usability, feature depth, value for money, and support — regardless of whether a partner program exists or how much it pays.
- Weak tools get weak reviews. If a tool performs poorly in our testing, we say so. No partner program buys a better score.
- No tool pays for placement or a recommendation. The "Recommended" label on our site is based solely on editorial judgment.
- Tools without affiliate programs are listed too. Many tools on Fastlancer have no partner program. We recommend them anyway if they're genuinely good.
- Prices and features change. We keep our content current, but always recommend verifying the latest pricing and terms directly with the provider.

Product logos are used to identify and illustrate the tools covered and remain the property of their respective brands. Where possible, images sourced from official websites are linked to the original source.
