Partner Terms of Service

Terms for paid placements on Fastlancer.org · Last updated: July 2026

1. Scope

These terms govern all paid services (Verified Listing, Featured Category, Sponsored Review, bundles and individually agreed formats) between the operator of Fastlancer.org (see legal notice, "Fastlancer") and business customers ("Partner"). Services are offered to businesses only, not to consumers. Deviating terms of the Partner apply only if confirmed by Fastlancer in writing.

2. Services

Verified Listing: "Verified" badge on the tool entry, publication of partner-supplied data after editorial review, data refresh twice per contract year.

Featured Category: A highlighted placement in a category overview, labeled as sponsored. A maximum of one featured slot is sold per category.

Sponsored Review: An editorial test report following the methodology described at "How we test". The Partner may review the draft for factual errors before publication; there is no entitlement to changes of the editorial assessment.

3. Editorial independence and disclosure

Paid placements and content are labeled as advertising ("Sponsored") in accordance with applicable law; outbound links carry rel="sponsored". Payment does not entitle the Partner to a particular rating, to a ranking position in editorial comparisons, or to the suppression of critical points. Editorial recommendations ("Recommended", top picks in comparison tables) are not for sale.

4. Conclusion, term, termination

The contract is concluded upon order confirmation in text form or upon completion of the online checkout. Fastlancer reviews every submission editorially for its fit with the platform. If, after this review, the product does not fit Fastlancer, Fastlancer may decline acceptance within ten business days of the order; in that case, any payments already made will be refunded in full and the decision will be explained. Monthly packages renew automatically month by month and can be cancelled effective at the end of the billing period. Annual packages renew for another year unless cancelled with four weeks' notice to the end of the term. One-time services (e.g. Sponsored Review) are completed upon delivery.

5. Prices and payment

The prices published at /en/featured/ at the time of ordering apply. All prices are net; German VAT (currently 19%) is added where applicable. For EU businesses with a valid VAT ID, the reverse-charge mechanism applies; for customers outside the EU, no German VAT is charged where the place of supply is outside Germany. Payment by credit card (payment provider: Stripe), PayPal, or invoice payable within 14 days. In case of default, Fastlancer may suspend the placement until payment is received.

6. Partner obligations

The Partner provides all information and materials required for the service (logos, product data, pricing) in a timely, complete and legally compliant manner and warrants that it holds the necessary rights. The Partner indemnifies Fastlancer against third-party claims arising from partner-supplied content.

7. Platform availability and changes

Fastlancer continuously develops the platform. Layout changes that do not materially impair the visibility of the agreed placement remain reserved. No specific visitor numbers, click volumes or commercial results are owed.

8. Liability

Fastlancer is liable without limitation for intent and gross negligence and for injury to life, body or health. In cases of slight negligence, liability is limited to the breach of essential contractual obligations and capped at the foreseeable damage typical for this type of contract. Any further liability is excluded.

9. Termination of placements

Fastlancer may terminate placements for cause if the advertised product is discontinued, violates applicable law, or materially endangers user trust (e.g. proven misleading business practices). Fees already paid for undelivered periods will be refunded pro rata.

10. Final provisions

The law of the Federal Republic of Germany applies, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods (CISG). Place of jurisdiction, where legally permissible, is the operator's registered seat. Should individual provisions be invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions remains unaffected. In case of discrepancies between this English version and the German Partner-AGB, the German version prevails.
